FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is loose leaf tea?
Our loose leaf tea is made from whole dried herbs, flowers, and leaves, without being ground into dust and packed into tea bags. This allows the ingredients to fully expand as they steep, creating a richer flavor, more aroma, and a more vibrant cup overall.
2. How do I brew loose leaf tea?
For every 10 ounces of water, simply add 1 tablespoon of tea to a tea infuser, coffee press, or directly into hot water. Pour freshly boiled water over the herbs and let steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on your taste preference. Strain and enjoy.
3. Why loose leaf tea instead of regular tea bags?
Most conventional tea bags contain finely ground dust or “fannings,” which can result in a flat, bitter, or dull flavor. Loose leaf tea uses whole ingredients, giving you a fuller taste, better aroma, and a more enjoyable experience overall, not just something you drink because it’s “good for you.”
4. What is Root Coffee?
Root Coffee is our signature roasted herbal blend made from chicory root, dandelion root, and burdock root. It’s crafted to mimic the rich, bold flavor of coffee, without caffeine, jitters, or the crash.
5. How do I brew Root Coffee?
You can steep it like tea or brew it like coffee. For best results, use a coffee press or percolator. Use about 1 tablespoon per cup of water, steep or brew for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer it, then strain and enjoy.
6. Does your tea contain caffeine?
Most of our herbal blends are naturally caffeine-free. The exception is our blends that include green tea (like CreativiTea), which contain a small amount of natural caffeine.
7. Are your teas organic?
Yes, we prioritize using high-quality, organic ingredients. We carefully source our herbs to ensure purity, potency, and great flavor in every blend.
8. What do you mean by “small batch”?
All of our teas are blended in small batches to maintain freshness, quality, and consistency. This hands-on approach, making about only 30 bags at a time, allows us to craft each blend with care and intention.
9. How should I store my tea?
Keep your tea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. An airtight container is best to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma.
10. How long does loose leaf tea last?
When stored properly, loose leaf tea can stay fresh for 12–24 months. While it won’t “spoil,” the flavor and potency are best when enjoyed within the first year.
